Art reveals itself to me in a world of whimsy, mystery, and silent devotion. My three basic forms of expression are: paintings of the 1940's in America, humorous watercolors depicting a woman aging with joy, and spiritual figures that speak of love and devotion. Having three modes of composition allow me to grow as an artist and speak in different ways of life's truths. This process takes place with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. I have completed over 400 paintings in my lifetime and continue to grow with each new piece. Art is an on going study of feeling, visioning, revealing, and demonstrating what is already within.

Kimm has developed a style of her own using oils and water media in her original paintings, inspired by the Toulouse Lautrec's Parisian nightlife, Carriere's portraits and scenes of motherhood, Raphael's Madonnas, Albrecht Durer's and Dante Rossetti religious themes.

Kimm's painting "Beloved" is part of the permanent collection of the TCU Chapel St. Thomas Moore College. Another piece is part of collection of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Ft. Worth, hanging in the Church hall..
